The day the music died

Sorry about the title but I just wanted to show how cool I was. I think it was 50 years ago today that Buddy Holly died his short life still is remembered and he left songs that are still respected.  Just heard this on the radio on the way to work this morning it also confirms my fear of flying.  Today I feel fine so not only is the effect of the chemo over for this treatment my cold seems under control.  I got through the day at work without the need for a nap so I seem to be on the rebuild.

Tonight I want to tell about my grand son Calvin I have so much fun just watching him play and interact with his sister and family.  We have a picture of him wearing a fire man suit which his grand father got him that makes him look so mature which of course he isn't.  My understanding is that he somehow got a bow in arrows for his birthday the good news is they have suction cups not real points the feedback from him is the only place they stick is on the windows.  Does anyone suspect a costly tragedy is in the works.  Garett seems to be raising him well I know this because a few weeks ago he showed up here with a holstered gun I was quick to check that it was a cap gun but with him it could have been real just kidding.  The kid could be a challenge to raise because he seems to take after his dad.  God has given me so  much to be thankful for.

God Bless and as always keep Sharen and myself in your prayers.

  1. I don't know if I should say thanks or some obscene line that ends with "in-law". ;)

  2. It is incredible what joy little people can bring into one life. Their presence so often defuses what ails us . do you suppose that is why God came to use as a little person first. He did the ultimate defusing of darkness. We pray for healing and send you much love, your humor is such a gift to watch and learn from your brave walk Ralph. Thank you.
